Spark Prep is excited to announce our summer programming this year: An intensive 6-day writing bootcamp, led by Sam Lien Nguyen.
Designed to fit the needs of students from grade 9 to 12, this course will be focused on Narrative Writing, especially for college applications. Students will be invited to read and examine examples of excellent narrative writing, and then craft writings of their own in-class and at home.
Sam Lien graduated from Northwestern University, majoring in English literature. She will be studying for her master degree of International Education and Nonprofit Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania. Sam has been working with Spark Prep Vietnam for 4 years.

- Location: Spark Prep – Hanoi office – 102 – 104 Lang Ha, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.
- Time: July 11-July 16; 9am-2pm
- English proficiency requirement: IELTS 7.0 and above or TOEFL iBT 95 and above
Students will:
- Learn personal narrative writing techniques
- Reading examples of personal narrative essays (in-class and at home)
- Practice writing essays (250-300 word and 500-650 word essays)
- In-class writing workshops with facilitator and classmates
